GEAR
On this page, you will find a brief overview of my current street and travel photography gear, which includes the cameras, lenses, and bags I use daily. While I have previously owned other cameras and equipment, this is my current setup for street and travel photography.
Recently, I have decided to streamline my gear, focusing on minimizing the weight I carry on my back.
I typically switch between my Leica Q3 and Sony A7R, mainly depending on whether I need lenses with longer focal lengths or if I can manage with just a 28 mm lens.

This is the camera I’ve been using the most lately, and it’s the one I enjoy the most. The images captured by this camera are of exceptional quality.
The Leica Q3 is a premium fixed lens compact camera which pairs a 60 megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor with a image-stabilized Leica Summilux 28mm f/1.7 prime lens.
It uses the same BSI (BackSide Illuminated) CMOS sensor as the M11 rangefinder, which utilises a specially developed dual-layer UV/IR cut-off filter.
It is designed and made in Germany.
In my humble opinion, this camera boasts extraordinary quality across all aspects, including design, materials, ergonomics, weight, functionality, and software.

The Sony a7R IV is the company's fourth generation, high-resolution full-frame mirrorless camera and is built around a BSI-CMOS sensor that outputs 60.2MP images.
Despite its high resolution, it can shoot at up to 10 frames per second with full autofocus and shoot 4K video either from the full width of its sensor or from an APS-C/Super 35 crop. It also gains a 16-shot high-resolution mode that can be used to generate 240MP images of static scenes.
I have to admit that Sony produces fantastic cameras and lenses, and the Sony a7R IV is no exception. I primarily use it on trips, especially when I anticipate needing lenses with longer focal lengths, which the Leica Q3 does not accommodate.
